The Hobbit Shire is located on a private sheep farm at a place called Hobbiton. We had a fine time wandering around the shire with our tour group. The detail in creating this set was incredible!
Cindy won the privilege of entering this hobbit hole by detecting a design flaw in this particular dwelling. Can you find it?
There is nothing inside. All the interior filming was done at a set in Wellington.

The scarecrow marks the spot where Bilbo said, "This is the furthest I've ever been from the Shire!"
